Rip The Runway - Snow White Edition

This weekend was the 4th Annual Rip The Runway Benefit Fashion Show. Parts of the proceeds went to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The entire show, including the designers, hosts, models, sponsors and attendees were in full white!

The event was hosted by Safiya (owner of Safiya Shoetique) and Petagaye Judz. Both ladies had three to five out fit changes and was never disappointing each time.

The night started off with a performance from the Safiya Shoetique Glam Squad, but the performance ended so quickly snapping a decent picture was impossible. Moving to the first designer for the night, Rihanna's Boutique. Rihanna's Boutique is owned and operated by a nine year old girl under the guidance of her father. The collection she presented was perfect for any fashion forward toddler/junior.

Next up was a wig showcase from Royalty Hair Trendz. Royaly Hair Trenz supports women undergoing hair loss due to health treatment. They provide wigs of your choice and style.

Kel Fashion and Design was the next featured designer and what they brought to the show were hand painted hats.

Loyola Creations was created and designed by Safiya's daughter! The pieces are not for the faint at heart and have an avant garde swag.

Safiya debuted her Spring lingerie collection and I WISH I had footage of this performance to share. Try to remember when Destiny's Child did lap dances on stage for Nelly, Magic Johnson and Terrence Howard.

My very favorite collection of the night, the designer that I was SO excited to meet, E-Gunnz!

The show closed with Safiya making it snow on the runway with her all white spring collection

The show was amazing and I am so greatful that I got to be a part of the production. As some of you may or may not know if you follow me on Instagram, I did the makeup for four of the models and one of the hosts (Petagaye Judz)
