Breaking News

I was contacted last week by Jonathan Lopez, founder of "LIVE DANCE LOVE", which is a non-profit organization that helps children who are living poverty, lack in education or have been abused and neglected.

LIVE.LOVE.DANCE. is a charitable non-profit organization that utilizes the art of music and dance to appeal to the hearts of donors who want to change the lives of underprivileged children all across the world.

LIVE.LOVE.STYLE is one of the ways this organization helps children across the world.

100% of the proceeds from LIVE.LOVE.STYLE go towards assisting their mission.

Children In Poverty
According to UNICEF, 22,000 children die each day due to poverty. And they “die quietly in some of the poorest villages on earth, far removed, from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world. Being meek and weak in life makes these dying multitudes even more invisible in death.”

Feeding the hungry at home and abroad. Food, clothing and medicines aid children in impoverished countries and in America`s inner-cities.

Abused Children
The problem of child abuse is a very serious problem that is growing in epidemic proportions. Throughout the summer and fall of 2010, newspapers and news broadcasts have been filled with tragic stories of child abuse, molestation, kidnappings, beatings, severe neglect and death. Almost one-in-ten children nationwide are victims of brutal child abuse and the number of severe cases appears to be increasing at an alarming rate.

More than 2,500 children died last year as a result of child abuse.

Children Education
Based on enrollment data, about 72 million children of primary school age in the developing world were not in school in 2012; 57 percent of them were girls. And these are regarded as optimistic numbers.

Many poor schools suffer from an inordinate lack of even the most basic resources and facilities. Most schools have insufficient classrooms, sanitary facilities, desks, chairs and textbooks. Each classroom has a poor quality blackboard and some chalk but that is the extent of their teaching resources. LIVE.LOVE.DANCE. is working to improve this situation by working with the schools to find out what they need most and providing it for them as and when they can.

Children With Serious Illness
The idea of children dealing with a terminal illness or disease is difficult for all of us to talk about. A child should never have to deal with any situation alone, especially their own death.

LIVE.LOVE.DANCE. helps children in hospitals, hospices or special rehabilitation centers with new products that provide relief and a welcome distraction from their illness. New books, games or toys give them an opportunity to interact with their peers and spend playful time with their families.
