"I get to marry my best friend"- @KimKardashian

Kim Kardashian's 33rd birthday will be hard to top.

The E! star was surprised with an engagement (and flawless 15-carat sparkler!) from her love Kanye West last night at AT&T Park in San Francisco alongside family and friends, and Kim tells E! News exclusively that it was truly a night to remember.

"Last night was truly magical!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world!" North West's mama tells us. "I get to marry my best friend!"

In true Yeezy fashion, Kanye planned a lavish and very romantic proposal for his ladylove.

After receiving Kris Jenner's blessing for Kim's hand in marriage, 'Ye got down on one knee and proposed to Kim with the gorgeous diamond ring by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.

Aiding in his effort was the field's jumbo screen, which flashed the sign, "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!"

But that's not all! A 50-piece orchestra played Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful," followed by Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Kanye's "Knock You Down."

Fireworks and Roman candles exploded into the night sky, and once the birthday girl said yes her friends and family ran out to the field from the dugout, adding yet another element of surprise.

Well done, Kanye.

When it came to picking out a ring for Kim Kardashian, Kanye West knew exactly who to turn to: Lorraine Schwartz.

Not only is the jewelry designer a close pal of the E! star, but Schwartz has created georgeous bling for celebs for years—including truly unique engagement sparklers forBlake Lively and BeyoncĂ©.

Being a designer himself, it was only natural that the rapper joined in on the creative process.

"Kanye was involved in every single way. He had a vision from the beginning. He looked at a lot of stones and he wanted only the best," says a rep for Lorraine Schwartz. "He and Lorraine emailed back and forth, and stayed up nights discussing how he wanted it to be. He wanted the diamond to look like it was floating on air. Everything was his idea from beginning to end."

The result? A 15-carat diamond that is truly jaw-dropping.

"The ring is flawless. Not just internally flawless, it's flawless. It's a D-stone, the best diamond there is, type 2A," shares the rep, adding "It's a perfect cushion cut diamond."

Celebrity jewelry expert Michael O'Connor estimates the ring is worth upwards to $3 million.

Like the ring, the proposal itself was just as impressive (like we'd expect anything less fromthe genius Mr. West!).
